At Stanton Hill Studios all furniture is hand-crafted and originally designed using traditional construction techniques and quality native hardwoods. Each piece of furniture is hand crafted by Benjamin Hobbs from his own designs. Benjamin hand picks all the wood used in his furniture. He uses many of the woods that are native to his area of New York and Pennsylvania including Maple, Black Walnut, Ash, Cherry, Oak, as well as some mahogany and curly or figured woods. Refined hand detailing makes each piece of furniture unique.

The Signature Line is a collection of end tables, pedestal tables, table lamps, floor lamps, hall tables, benches, and coat trees. These pieces of furniture feature all the details of design and craftsmanship that Benjamin is known for as well as being available to order in many choices of wood colors and wood combinations to complement your decor. The One of a Kind collection is where Benjamin defines his style of furniture making and shows his skill at design and craftsmanship. In the construction of these larger and more complicated pieces Benjamin gets a chance to use many interesting materials and techniques, such as dovetail joinery and frame and panel construction.
